Movie review: UP
Ok, just got back from the 3D version and I have to say on first viewing I think this is my favorite animated movie ever. Don't know how well it will hold up to 100 viewings like Cars and The Incredibles did. And as a first for Pixar not only is it good for adults and kids I think it is much better for adults. I almost got teary eyed really. It was a touching and fairly deep film. A must see I think. Oh and read the parallel universe article and drop a comment on what you thought.

How about the 3D? Worth it?
It all depends on if you like 3D. I think it would be just as good without, but it was fun to see it in 3D. really it is a personal choice. Although Evan and Dallin had a hard time with the glasses and at times were watching the blurry version without them.
I would definitely recommend the 3D version only because I've never seen 3D done this well. It really was very fun. I too agree that this movie catered to adults more than any other Pixar and I really enjoyed the sentiment. I also think the short at the beginning was one of their best. Loved it.
trying to leave a comment. here goes. havn't seen up yet but i need to. i just saw 1bc with jack black and michael sera? very funny but a bit crude. don't bring the kids. not sure what it's rated. let's see if this works.
didn't get to see the 3d version. excellent movie. i teared up a bit and loved, loved, loved the talking dogs and "nevada" was really touching and cute movie. great animation. y not call it angel falls? but anyway. the bird was cool, really pretty. the little girl/young wife was cute and funny, liked the missing tooth. great movie about hopes and dreams and living life. i'd say by far their best yet. more adult than the others. you think they'll do an UP 2 in about 20 years for all the kids that have grown up and have a jar jar binks ;) lets hope they pass
