Cool stuff. How fun would that be to have your name encoded in the bacteria that took over the world?

As fare as sentience I think silicon based "life" will win that race. But this may make it close.

Really amazing. I am sure that great things are made possible with such a move forward in understanding and technology. 10 years of work. Makes you wonder what kind of world we will live in 20 years from now.
